Overview
Shawn Spencer has a gift: years of training from his cop father left him with near-photographic observational instincts. The problem is he never wanted to be a detective. When his anonymous crime tips make him look suspiciously guilty, Shawn invents an alibi on the spot, claiming to be a psychic. Now he's stuck running a paranormal consultancy for the Santa Barbara police, keeping up the act with his reluctant best friend Gus and his skeptical, exasperated dad watching every move.
