Overview
England is fractured. The Norman conquest has left Saxon communities crushed beneath the boot of occupying lords, and two young people from opposite sides of that divide are falling for each other anyway. Rob, a forester's son with everything to lose, and Marian, daughter of a Norman nobleman, find their private rebellion becoming something far larger. This reimagining of the legend strips the myth back to its roots, asking what justice actually costs when the corrupt hold all the power.
