Overview

A spectacular meteor display sweeps across the night sky, and by morning, civilization has fractured. Millions wake to complete darkness. Those who retain their sight soon discover the true catastrophe: the meteors brought seeds that have grown into towering, predatory plants with an appetite for flesh. A merchant navy officer becomes humanity's unlikely guide through this inverted world, where the sighted are hunted and the blind outnumber the living.
