Overview
Patrick Jane spent years conning the public as a television psychic, but he was never actually faking his gifts. His uncanny ability to read body language, spot deception, and notice what others miss is completely real. Now working as a consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation, he channels those same skills toward catching killers. Colleagues find him brilliant and infuriating in equal measure, and the show earns its pleasures from watching him dismantle a room full of suspects with nothing but his eyes and a smile.
