Overview
Seventeen-year-old Cadence has lost an entire summer. A year after an accident she cannot remember, she returns to Beechwood, the Sinclair family's private island retreat off Martha's Vineyard, desperate to piece together what happened. Three generations of polished, secretive relatives surround her, along with her childhood friends and a first love who will not meet her eyes. Everyone knows something. Nobody is talking. The closer Cadence gets to the truth, the more dangerous the silence becomes.
