Overview
March 31, 1943. While Broadway erupts over the opening night of Oklahoma!, its composer Richard Rodgers is toasting a future that no longer includes his old writing partner. Lorenz Hart, once the sharper half of one of American songwriting's great collaborations, drinks alone at Sardi's, wrestling with obsolescence, regret, and a talent he can no longer trust. Part elegy, part character study, Blue Moon sits with a brilliant man watching the world move on without him.
