Overview
Philip and Elizabeth Jennings look like any other suburban couple outside Washington D.C., raising kids, maintaining a travel agency, arguing about ordinary things. They are also deep-cover KGB operatives, loyal to the Soviet Union while living inside the country they were trained to undermine. Their FBI neighbor Stan Beeman is hunting people exactly like them. Set across the paranoid landscape of 1980s Cold War America, the show asks how long a lie can hold before it becomes the truth.
