Overview
Julie Taymor brings Shakespeare's most savage play to the screen with fearless visual invention, collapsing ancient Rome and the modern era into one disorienting fever dream. Anthony Hopkins plays Titus Andronicus, a Roman general who returns from war decorated with glory and broken by grief, watching helplessly as his family is destroyed through cycles of revenge and political betrayal.
