Overview
Jenna has two reliable escapes from her suffocating marriage: the extraordinary pies she invents at the local diner, each one named after whatever feeling she is trying to survive, and a secret she is not yet ready to share. When a charming new doctor arrives in her small Southern town, the careful walls she has built around herself start showing cracks. Writer-director Adrienne Shelly crafts something warm and bittersweet about a woman slowly learning she deserves more than what she settled for.
