Overview
Tom Hardy plays both Kray twins, and the casting choice alone tells you everything about the film's ambitions. Set in 1960s London, it charts how Reggie and Ronnie built a criminal empire from the East End outward, mixing genuine charisma with brutal violence while nightclubs, protection rackets, and tabloid coverage turned them into celebrities. Detective Nipper Read circles the brothers as their world grows more precarious. The real tension, though, lives between the twins themselves.
