Overview
Walter Neff thinks he knows every angle in the insurance game, until Phyllis Dietrichson walks into his life wearing an anklet and a smile that spells trouble. What begins as a routine policy call curdles into a plot to kill her husband and collect the payout. Standing between Neff and a clean getaway is Barton Keyes, his sharp-eyed colleague whose instincts for fraud are as reliable as a Swiss watch. Billy Wilder's noir benchmark drips with fatalism and desire.
