Overview
When a female colleague is found murdered, deputy prosecutor Rusty Sabich finds himself on the wrong side of the law he has spent his career enforcing. The affair he kept secret is now public evidence, and the case against him is disturbingly convincing. Director Alan J. Pakula builds the tension slowly and deliberately, letting Harrison Ford carry the weight of a man whose guilt or innocence becomes harder to read with every new revelation.
