Overview
Three Boston men share a single formative wound from childhood, one they never fully processed and never openly discussed. Decades later, a brutal murder pulls them back into each other's orbit, each carrying his own version of guilt, grief, and suspicion. Clint Eastwood directs with the weight of a Greek tragedy, and Sean Penn, Tim Robbins, and Kevin Bacon each disappear into roles that demand something close to confession. The past does not stay buried here. It surfaces violently.
