Overview
When a thief's Christmas Eve heist goes sideways, he barricades himself inside a suburban home with its warring inhabitants. What unfolds is less hostage crisis than domestic warfare, as the burglar discovers that this fractured family's toxicity makes his criminal enterprise look quaint. Trapped between murderous relatives, a failing marriage, and his own desperation, he becomes less captor than referee in a holiday nightmare that proves some prisons are built from dysfunction, not bars.
