Overview
Days after the September 11 attacks, a twelve-man Special Forces unit boards a plane for northern Afghanistan with almost no support and a near-impossible mission. To take on the Taliban, they must forge an unlikely alliance with a Northern Alliance warlord and fight on horseback across some of the most unforgiving terrain on earth. Based on a true story that stayed classified for years, the film captures the strange, brutal improvisation required when modern soldiers meet ancient warfare.
