Overview
An eight-year-old boy arrives at a mysterious compound in occupied Poland, where he discovers another child living behind a fence. Their unlikely friendship forms in the shadow of horrific truths neither fully comprehends. Director Mark Herman crafts a story filtered entirely through childish innocence, making the Holocaust's machinery all the more devastating through what remains deliberately unseen.
