Overview
Deep in space, a reclusive scientist and his curious android assistant Max have kept to themselves, running experiments that would raise eyebrows back on Earth. Their isolation ends when three fugitives dock uninvited, one of them a woman Max has never encountered before. What follows is part social awakening, part power struggle, as the arrival stirs competing desires in both creator and creation, and the most dangerous intentions belong to someone nobody expected.
