Overview
Les haunts the sidewalks of New York with a camera, chasing celebrities for the kind of fame he can only photograph. When he takes in Toby, a directionless young drifter with loose dreams of acting, it feels like generosity. Then Toby stumbles into a romance with pop sensation K'Harma Leeds, and Les discovers that mentorship has its limits when jealousy takes over. A sharp, unsentimental look at ambition, loyalty, and who gets to be the star.
