Overview
Adam Bell is a history professor living a colorless, repetitive life when a rented film reveals something that unsettles him completely: an actor on screen who shares his exact face. What begins as quiet curiosity curdles into something far more disturbing as Adam tracks the man down, blurring the line between observer and obsessive. Denis Villeneuve directs with suffocating precision, turning a simple premise about doubles into a meditation on desire, control, and the parts of ourselves we bury.
