Overview
In Caracas, a reserved fifty-year-old man named Armando quietly pays young strangers just to sit with him, nothing more. When he encounters Elder, a volatile teenage gang leader, the arrangement resists easy categories from the start. Director Lorenzo Vigas lets the two men circle each other with suspicion and need, building a portrait of loneliness and class that feels specific to Venezuela yet cuts at something far more universal. Tension replaces sentimentality at every turn.
