Overview
When ancient cave paintings scattered across distant civilizations point to the same star system, a group of scientists convinces a trillion-dollar corporation to fund a voyage to the far edge of space. What they find there is not a welcome. Ridley Scott's return to science fiction is less concerned with monsters than with questions, specifically the oldest and most unsettling one: what if the beings who made us never wanted us to survive long enough to find them.
