Overview
Chicago is being terrorized by a killer with a theological obsession and a surgeon's precision. The victims turn up mutilated, their bodies arranged with grotesque care, each scene annotated with scripture twisted into something poisonous. Assigned to the case is a homicide detective who has seen too much of the city's worst to be easily shaken, but this one tests him differently. The murders feel less like crimes and more like a sermon being delivered one corpse at a time.
