Overview
When a psychologist arrives at a near-empty space station circling the mysterious ocean world of Solaris, he finds the surviving crew shattered by visions they refuse to explain. Then his own dead wife appears in his quarters, impossibly real, warm, and present. Steven Soderbergh's adaptation of Stanislaw Lem's novel strips science fiction down to its emotional core, turning the cosmos into a mirror that reflects grief, guilt, and the dangerous hunger to undo what cannot be undone.
