Overview
Beyond the barbed wire and military checkpoints lies the Zone, a stretch of ravaged landscape where physics bends without warning and something stranger waits at the center. A man known only as the Stalker leads two clients, a writer and a scientist, through its shifting dangers toward a room said to fulfill a person's deepest wish. Andrei Tarkovsky turns the journey inward, making the real destination not a place but the terrifying honesty of confronting what you truly want.
