Overview
October 1957, and the Space Age has America looking at the sky with equal parts wonder and dread. Into that climate of paranoia lands something enormous in the woods outside Rockwell, Maine. A nine-year-old boy named Hogarth is the first to find it, and what begins as a secret becomes something far more profound. Brad Bird's animated film asks a quietly radical question: what makes us human, and can something built entirely of metal choose to be good?
