Overview
When Clay Jensen finds a box of cassette tapes on his doorstep, he discovers they were recorded by Hannah Baker, his classmate who recently took her own life. Each tape names someone she holds responsible for pushing her toward that final decision. As Clay listens, the picture of Hannah's last months grows darker and more complicated, forcing him to reckon with what he knew, what he ignored, and what the rest of their school would rather keep buried.
