Overview
Agâh Beyoğlu spent decades as a judicial officer, upholding a law he quietly resented. Now retired, and newly diagnosed with Alzheimer's, he realizes his window is closing fast. The disease that threatens to erase him has, perversely, set him free. What follows is a precise, methodical reckoning with a wrong he has nursed for years, while a dogged detective closes in on a killer who may vanish into his own mind before she can reach him.
