Overview
Bill Lee kills bugs for a living and gets high on his own supply, sharing the habit with his wife Joan and a loose circle of Beat-era writers. After a chance encounter with the sinister Dr. Benway introduces him to a centipede-derived narcotic, a single terrible accident sends Bill spiraling into Interzone, a city that reshapes itself around his paranoia. There, his typewriter speaks, his pages write themselves, and the line between author and hallucination dissolves completely.
