Overview
Vito Corleone has spent decades building an empire held together by loyalty, fear, and carefully observed rules. When an assassination attempt leaves him near death, his family fractures under the pressure. It falls to Michael, the youngest son who once swore he would never inherit this life, to protect what remains. Francis Ford Coppola's 1972 masterwork charts a decade of violence and consequence, tracing exactly how a man becomes the thing he most dreaded.
