Overview
During the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands, a Jewish woman named Rachel narrowly survives a massacre and gets pulled into the Dutch resistance. Recruited to seduce an SS officer, she discovers the operation masks deeper conspiracies and personal vendettas. Paul Verhoeven's sprawling wartime thriller navigates the moral ambiguities of survival, where allies prove unreliable and betrayal lurks within resistance cells themselves.
