Overview
In 1994, while the international community looked away, Rwanda descended into one of the worst mass killings of the twentieth century. Paul Rusesabagina, a hotel manager with sharp instincts and a talent for negotiation, used every favor, bribe, and bluff at his disposal to shelter more than a thousand Tutsi refugees inside the walls of his four-star hotel. His story is one of ordinary courage pressed into extraordinary service, at a moment when the world had already decided not to care.
