Overview
Harry Moseby is a private eye with a failing marriage and a past in professional football, neither of which prepared him for what starts as a routine job. A faded Hollywood actress hires him to track down her teenage daughter, who has drifted south to Florida. What he finds there pulls him into a murky orbit of stuntmen, a shady mechanic, and an unresolved killing. Arthur Penn's 1975 neo-noir is less about solving the case than watching a man who cannot solve himself.
