Overview
When eight-year-old Nelly helps clear out her late grandmother's house, she wanders into the surrounding woods and meets a girl her own age building a hut among the trees. The friendship feels immediate and inexplicably deep, and soon Nelly begins to sense something remarkable about who this girl really is. Céline Sciamma's quietly astonishing film folds grief, childhood, and time into something that feels closer to a dream remembered on waking than a conventional story.
