Overview
Dave Brown has been bending the rules of the LAPD for so long he no longer recognizes them as rules at all. Set against the smoldering aftermath of the Rampart corruption scandal in late-1990s Los Angeles, the film is a character study of a man in freefall, a veteran officer whose racism, violence, and self-destruction finally catch up to him even as he fights to hold his fractured family together and keep a badge on his chest.
