Overview
Mike Sullivan has spent years as an enforcer for John Rooney, the Irish mob patriarch he respects like a father. When his young son accidentally witnesses a murder, that loyalty collapses overnight, and Sullivan finds himself hunted by the very organization he served. What follows is a cold Midwestern odyssey through snow and violence, a father doing terrible things to protect the one piece of his life still worth saving, and a son learning exactly who his father is.
