Overview
During the Pacific campaign of World War II, the U.S. military deployed Navajo soldiers as code talkers, their native language serving as an unbreakable cipher the Japanese could never crack. Sergeant Joe Enders is assigned to guard one of these men, but his orders carry a dark weight: if capture seems imminent, he must ensure the code, and the man who carries it, never falls into enemy hands. John Woo directs this tense collision of duty, loyalty, and moral cost.
