Overview
Sam Mendes follows Marine sniper Anthony Swofford through the psychological crucible of the Gulf War. Trained for combat but relegated to observation, Swofford watches from the sidelines while his mind fractures under inaction and personal betrayal. His rifle becomes both weapon and obsession as the gap between his training and his purpose widens into something darker and more desperate.
