Overview
Fresh out of prison, a young man from the rough streets of New York's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood is looking for a way out that doesn't lead back to a cell. He finds it, or tries to, by convincing a washed-up former boxing contender to train him. What follows is less a sports story and more a study of two damaged men negotiating second chances in a neighborhood that rarely hands them out.
