Overview
In a suburban cul-de-sac where grass is cut and secrets simmer, two married parents find each other across the playground fence. Their affair becomes the neighborhood's shadow story, unfolding alongside darker narratives: a convicted sex offender trying to rebuild his life and a former cop spiraling into obsession. Todd Solondz examines desire, shame, and the gap between who we pretend to be and who we actually are.
