Overview
At Cambridge in the early 1960s, a brilliant physics student named Stephen Hawking meets Jane Wilde, and what begins as intellectual courtship quietly deepens into something neither anticipated. When Stephen receives a devastating diagnosis that should have ended everything, Jane refuses to accept the timeline doctors offer. The film moves between scientific ambition and domestic devotion, asking what it costs two people to hold each other up while the world watches one of them become a legend.
