Overview
China, 1942. In the chaotic aftermath of the Doolittle Raid on Tokyo, American airman Jack Turner crashes into a country already torn apart by Japanese occupation. A young widow named Ying takes him in, hiding him at enormous personal risk while a language barrier and mutual suspicion slowly give way to something deeper. The film balances wartime tension with an unlikely romance, asking how much two strangers can sacrifice for each other when discovery means death.
