Overview
Navy explosives expert Ford Brody is barely home with his family when a trip to Japan to collect his troubled father pulls him into something far larger than any human conflict. Deep beneath the Pacific, a colossal ancient creature has stirred, drawn to the surface by the presence of massive parasitic monsters feeding on nuclear energy. As cities crumble and military strategies collapse, the real question becomes not whether humanity can win, but whether it ever had control to begin with.
